Know Your A to Z’s for National Selfie Day

Today is National Selfie Day (June 21st), so despite what you may think of selfies, what’s important right now, is your knowledge of the various form of selfies. Believe it or not, there are more than one.. hell, there are a multitude of them.

THE DICTIONARY
A AS “AFTER SEX-SELFIE”

Half naked, often taken in bed after a session of affection.

B AS “BELFIE”

The selfie dedicated to the B side, introduced by Kim Kardashian is now a must to easily raise the number of followers and likes.

F AS “FOOTIES”

Yes, close up of feet. However, these are often taken with breathtaking panoramas or extravagant scenarios in the background that give a glimpse of what is going on around.

H AS “HELFIE”

These ones for the hair. If you have a perfect hairdos or some solid hair flowing action going on, then the only thing left to do is to show it off.

P AS “PELFIE”

P is for Pets! This category includes all the selfies shot with the loved puppies: dogs, cats, soft and funny creatures, usually of the furry variety.

R AS “RELFIE”

Couples who take photos together are taking, yes, you guessed it… a Relfie. Sounds awful, possibly contagious where a strict regimen of antibiotics might be needed, however, Relfies show of your romantic side and who doesn’t love romance?

S AS “SUGLIE”

We’ve all been there, 15 selfies later and you’re deleting those that didn’t make the cut. BUT WAIT! Why waste those absolutely horrible pictures where you look have inebriated? You got yourself a Suglie!

U AS “USSIE”

A group selfie full of people. The least obnoxious of this nomenclature is best-known thanks Ellen DeGeneres during the 86th Academy Awards when she shot a photo surrounded by the most famous actors in the world.

W AS “WELFIE”

A sin for most, a rights of passage for others – the unavoidable selfies while you’re training in the open or in the gym. Fundamental to show a fit body and a real passion for fitness.

Now that you’ve been burdened with these words, we would like to apologize and to remind you NEVER to use them 🙂
